Tucked away on 62 private acres in the Kentucky countryside, The Bourbon Lodge is a refined country retreat created for gathering, relaxing, and experiencing the best of bourbon and horse country. The Lodge is ideally positioned in the center of bourbon country, 30 minutes from The Urban Bourbon Trail in Louisville, and 30 minutes from Bardstown, Kentucky, the bourbon capitol of the world!
The lodge features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own private bath, offering guests the comfort and privacy of a boutique inn with all the advantages of having an entire property to yourself.
At the heart of the lodge is a spacious great room, where comfortable couches and cozy blankets invite long conversations, quiet mornings, and evenings spent together.
A full kitchen and dining area make it easy to prepare everything from a leisurely breakfast to dinner for the whole group, while the pool table provides the perfect setting for a little friendly competition.
Step outside and the experience gets even better. Slip into the hot tub beneath the Kentucky sky, gather around the large outdoor fire pit, or settle into the backyard seating areas with a glass of bourbon as the sun goes down.
When you're ready to explore, private walking trails wind through the property's 62 acres, offering plenty of room to wander, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the quiet of the countryside.

OUR STORY
Standing quietly among 62 acres of Kentucky countryside, the stone chimney had endured for more than 150 years—a remnant of the people who once called this land home and a testament to the craftsmanship with which it was built.
Rather than erase that history, we chose to build upon it.
The original chimney was carefully revived and restored, its weathered stones becoming the heart of The Bourbon Lodge and the foundation for a retreat designed to feel as though it had always belonged here.
The story of the original cabin extends beyond the chimney. Stones from its foundation were collected from the property and given new purpose as the structural stonework of the lodge's front porch.
During construction, we uncovered other traces of the lives once lived here—including old horseshoes buried on the property. Today, those horseshoes have found a new home inside the lodge, where they serve as quiet reminders of the land's past.
EVERY TIMBER TELLS A STORY
The cedar beams that define the lodge were reclaimed from the property and raised using traditional timber-framing techniques. Their warmth and character now frame the rooms beneath them, connecting the new structure to the landscape from which they came.

The Bourbon Lodge was never intended to simply look old or feel rustic. It was created to preserve what was worth preserving and thoughtfully build around it—combining old Kentucky stone, reclaimed timber, natural materials, and modern comforts in a place that honors both its history and its surroundings. The result is something both old and new: a lodge rooted in the history of this land, yet created for the people who will gather here today. Every stone, beam, and horseshoe carries a little of what came before. And now, the next chapter belongs to you.
